Well, everybody involved in this landmark issue is thoroughly exhausted and in need of a few days off before we start work on our next issue, but Eighth Day Magazine Issue Twenty-four, the 'Bumper Book of Cool!' is officially out today in Physical (£5) and eMag (£3) form!
Unusually, we are lost for words when attempting to write about this issue, so we will largely let this 130-page beast speak for itself, but we should mention that it features a record number of interviews in any one issue and some of our biggest so far! We doubt any publication has ever brought together interviews with the following in one issue: Nils Lofgren, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Yes, Jethro Tull, Steve Hackett, The Beat, Neil Fox, The Bookends, The Magic Numbers, Gretchen's Wheel, The Harveys, Duncan Reid and the Big Heads and Melt-Banana!
Also featured in no lesser form in Issue Twenty-four are Eye Scream Men, Blue Öyster Cult, Wasted World with a very special full four-page comic, Frenchy's Rants, 666 Songs to Make You Bang Your Head Until You Die, German Shepherd Records, Tenet, Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons, Bill & Ted Face the Music and much, much more!
And then there is THAT cover, which was painstakingly but lovingly created by our Editor-in-Chief. The first person to name every single person on it wins a Twix and a bag of Monster Munch!
We are off for a socially-distanced brew before we tentatively think about our October issue. So, with love and thanks from everybody at Eighth Day Magazine, we hope you enjoy Issue Twenty-four! xx
